Radiant Orchid: Watercolor Butterfly Invitations

You wouldn’t know it by looking outside today, but the past week here in Atlanta has been gorgeous! Highs in the 60s and 70s and sunny…I’ll take that for February! Although the temperature has dropped for today, we’ll be back to 70 on Sunday. Spring is so close, I can almost taste it! Only 23 more days. In fact, I was out in my yard yesterday and noticed the crocuses were blooming. Here’s hoping we don’t have one last cold snap!

Keeping with the Spring vibe to get me through this chilly day, I want to share a sweet lavender and pink invitation I designed for a special baby girl’s first birthday. These watercolor butterfly invitations are perfect for a precious little girl birthday or baby shower, and if you happen to be planning a party around Pantone’s Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid, then look no further!

We also offer full addressing services for all of our invitations. If you purchase a full invitation suite with printed address and return address, we’ll stuff and mail your invitations for you at no additional charge! With a variety of stamps on hand, we’ll find just the right match for your invitations, and your guests will be ooh-ing and aah-ing when they receive their mail! Email us to find out more about these watercolor butterfly invitations or other baby shower invitations. Stay warm!

Little Pumpkin Birthday Invitations

I adore my clients…simple as that. I assist many of them from their save-the-dates to their wedding day, then get the phone call to create their birth announcements, and this time, First Birthday Party Invitations! We wrapped up this particular phone call, and I was grinning from ear to ear because I knew I could create something special for this Little Pumpkin birthday party.

With a color palette of pink and pumpkin, she wanted the invitation to read, “Our Little Pumpkin is Turning One”. So I designed these Little Pumpkin birthday party invitations to mimic a pumpkin patch, and the birthday girl is the little pink pumpkin! I love how they turned out, especially with the custom “Picked from the Patch for” printed address.

With my photo studio down for a few weeks, I had to use my Halloween themed dining room table (and some strong natural light) to shoot these invitations. But as I was shooting, the light was becoming stronger and stronger, so I just had to share some shots of this year’s Halloween décor! I incorporated my DIY Apothecary Bottles (directions in the link), pink and pumpkin Gerbera Daisies, some caramel colored candles, and white pumpkins. With no doorstep to put a Jack-o-Lantern on, my dining room table decorations give me my Halloween fix!

I cannot believe tomorrow is Halloween…luckily with this year’s color palette and these flowers now going on almost two weeks (they have lasted forever!), I can remove the Apothecary bottles, and go with a Thanksgiving Harvest theme. Win-win! Hope you enjoyed the little dose of Halloween décor inspiration.
